A time to remember God’s faithfulness and step forward again into the world.

On Thursday evening, May 15, 2025, the University of the Nations, Jeju community gathered to hold the Commissioning Night for the completion of the first quarter of training.
The theme of the evening was “Remember”—just as God repeatedly told the Israelites at the edge of the wilderness in the book of Deuteronomy. To remember wasn’t simply a call to recollect the past, but to
hold deeply in their hearts who God is, what He has done, and how He has led them.
by remembering, the Israelites were able to take bold steps of faith toward the promised land. In the same way, as we reflected on the past 12 weeks of training, we remembered what God had done among us and took steps forward into outreach and our next season, trusting in His continued faithfulness.
The service began with a time of quiet reflection. With eyes closed, we recalled the moment we first arrived on campus and reflected on the God who called us here. Then we lifted our voices in praise, singing “Great is Thy Faithfulness” to open the evening with a corporate declaration of God’s unchanging faithfulness.
Testimonies followed, shared by students from each school. These were not just personal stories but living confessions of
who God is and how His promises have been fulfilled in real and powerful ways.

CDTS – Natsuki’s Testimony
Senior DTS – Kyungja Park’s Testimony
We also watched a testimony video from the SOIWSW (School of Intercession, Worship & Spiritual Warfare) student who had just returned from field prayer ministry in France and Tanzania. Though she was not physically present, her testimonies clearly conveyed God’s presence, protection, and word in her life.
Following this, we celebrated the 8-week journey of the WCS (Wooden Construction Seminar) with a highlight video, reminding us again of the beauty of integrated discipleship through both spirit and skill.
This quarter also marked the completion of CSBS(Chronological School of Bible Studies) Part 2. Those finishing the second part will continue seamlessly into CSBS 3, further deepening their biblical foundation.
After the testimonies and videos, the community lifted up gratitude and praise to God, and the atmosphere naturally flowed into a time of Christ-centered worship and heartfelt confession.
After the worship, Missionary Namjoo Lee (Cambodia) shared real-life stories of long-term missions, giving a powerful glimpse into God’s work and ongoing missions work in the field. Director Seokgeon Park encouraged us by sharing stories of Moses and Joshua.
This was the message shared by him:
In order to step into a new season, we must break free from the inertia of what is familiar. When we lay down our fears, worries, and anxieties and surrender our whole lives to God, He will do even greater and more wondrous things through us.
When we take off our sandals and surrender, God will lead us into new land.
From Here to the Nations—and to Daily Life
The students who have completed their training are commissioned to their outreach locations or a place on their lives:
- CYP DTS: Nepal, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Korea
- CDTS: Japan, China, Russia
- Senior DTS: Georgia, Türkiye
These are not just mission teams, they are Change Makers, sent out by God. Please pray that God’s new work will unfold in the places they go and among the people they meet.
At the same time, some students are returning to their workplaces, families, and local churches. Please pray that they will continue to live as commissioned Change Makers, carrying the Word and call they received during training.
And please remember to pray for the upcoming 2025 Q2 quarter, for the staff, the new students, and for a new season and calling.
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
