Evangelism Is Fun —The Story of From Youth
“How can young people enjoy doing missions and evangelism?”
This question sparked the beginning of a ministry called From Youth (Youth Mission Mobilization Team).
From Youth provides a space where young people can joyfully take on the challenge of spreading the gospel of God’s kingdom using their gifts and talents. One of the key projects of this ministry is the From Youth Outreach.
Every Thursday, partner with local churches, we bring all the necessary equipment and ingredients for making Bungeobbang (Korean fish-shaped pastry) and share the gospel in neighborhoods around the church.
We start the day with worship and intercession at the office, followed by preparing outreach scripts and making the batter and fillings. Afterward, we go out with local church members to meet people in the neighborhoods. Youth volunteers join us regularly, and together we discover that evangelism is fun.
The areas visited during the first half of this year include Songdang, Hamdeok, Daeheul, Yongdam, and Jeju National University.
We believe evangelism, once faithfully carried by the elders of our churches, is now being actively embraced by young people.
Please pray with us that, through From Youth, more missions and evangelism work will continue to the days ahead.
